marta would it make sense to try and linkin about 10 american international schools chosen to look at dual languages eg spanish french italian chinese japanese with english and important locations- all the sdg changes places need cant be solved by americans as separate from other cultures- your youths dual visions are actually what the next adminstration and the whole system of washington needs as a source to the future they wont otherwise listen to- a question is there an alumni club that all american international children can belong to--as 18-25 year olds they can be unique connector of everything the world needs most if sustainability of every place remains the goal of the 2020s- i am attending a 9 day zoom hosted by unctad in geneva and a youth scholars movement sors sponsored after subprime to redesign economic systems to linkin communities- there was a great explanation of latin america's economic and other failures by an argentinian now at a university in utah. i will ask camilo if he knows the guy because if it were possible to connect the three of you i think the positive ideas you could have for spanish speaking world could be great; there is also the peculiar challenge of kamala harris- her parents come from carribean and india but she doesnt seem to have much knowledge of these places needs; equally she doesnt really have experience of african american inner city livesmatter needs- unless we can find a way to unite a movement of under 30 americans able to explain what different places and ethnic groups most need to unite round natures challenges now another 4 years of politics out of dc without helping peoples anywhere will not make being american a positive thing worldwide- this is a hidden agenda one doesnt want to state like that but we need young americans able to explore this new new world -if it doesnt come from an alumni group of american intl schools and diplomats who want win-win relationships in representing americans abroad where will it come from- these are difficult things to discuss so eg arts movements can be a safe space to unite a cross cultural practice before also asking how can we hklp people of different cultures - song can do that- her life partner christian probably understands the big issue i am talking about and has roots in michigan- so i hope tuesdays zoom with them may be the start of some things- BUT MARTHA- there are now so many challenges - which matter most to your next school year of all the actions we have searched? is there a team around you that i cold zoom with or can you see if some of the people who most work on win-win with you agree that an alumni group of ai schools needs linking in now; i do believe that both ai schools and fabrice dual language schools want the same futures for their youth- have you talked at all to fabrice since our zoom- like you his peoples must be facing the urgent challenges of the new school year- interestingly new york is leading experiments in real schools- most of american schooling is all virtual for next 12 months; that does actually mean that informed districts could twin at least current affairs, history, geography, sdg lessons with schools abroad if we could scale such an invitation
